Vegetation

This data set consists of vegetation types in 4 tidal marsh sites within the San Francisco Bay area, California: Dumbarton, Faber Laumister, Greco Island, and Mowry Marsh. Vegetation types were interpreted from 30 1:4,800-scale color infrared (CIR) photo transparencies flown in September 1994. Ten vegetation type classes were interpreted: Levee (bare), levee (vegetated), wrack material, mudflat (bare), tidal slough (bare), marshplain (bare), gumplant spp., mixed spp., 100% cordgrass, and 100% pickleweed.
