On_January_6,_USDA_euthanized_the_entire_bull_calf_herd_from_Sunnyside,_Washington._Approximately_450_animals_were_euthanized_according_to_American 08, Veterinary_Medical_Association_humane_guidelines 2004 Jan. USDA_announced_today_that_DNA_evidence_now_helps_to_verify—with_a_high_degree_of_certainty—that_the_BSE_positive_cow_found_in_Washington_State 06, originated_from_a_dairy_farm_in_Alberta,_Canada. 2004 Jan. USDA_has_made_the_decision_to_depopulate_the_bull_calf_operation_in_Mabton,_Washington,_that_includes_a_calf_born_to_the_heifer_infected_with_BSE 05, prior_to_the_heifer’s_slaughter_this_past_December.  2004 Jan.
